The top of Ieodo is 4.6m in depth of water, and the surrounding grounds are intensively curved and complicated sea floor
Stretching out from the top, sharp change in depth can be found until 52m in Northwest, and then slightly heightened to 50m with relatively gentle slope.
To the southeast, steep-sloped rock bed is projected with drastic change in depth from 45m to 55m.
Top of the rock is oval-shaped about 1.8㎞ in North-South and 1.4㎞ in East-West with the area of 2.0 square meters based on 50m depth contour.
Ieodo Ocean Research Station is located about 700m south from the top of Ieodo, and 41m in depth.
