We’re delighted to share an article published by the newspaper Fiji Sun on 18 July 2017:
The article wrote about a 30-day joint hydrographic survey between the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA) and the Fiji Hydrographic Office at the Pacific Harbour, Fiji, supported by KHOA. The survey is being conducted using a multi-beam echo sounder, which will be donated to Fiji afterward. Fiji only had a single-beam echo sounder but the survey training and the equipment will enable them to have full bottom coverage that the international maritime community requires to visit Fijian ports. Head of Fiji Navy Hydrographic Office, Lieutenant Commander Gerard Rokoua said that the training has been of great significance to the Fiji Navy.
