About NEAR-GOOS

The North-East Asian Regional Global Ocean Observing System (NEAR-GOOS) is a regional pilot project of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), and it is being implemented by Republic of Korea, China, Japan and the Russian Federation as one activity of IOC Sub-Commission for the Western Pacific(WESTPAC).
The NEAR-GOOS National Real Time Database is operated by the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration (KHOA) for the exchange of oceanographic data among the participating institutions in the NEAR-GOOS.
