The 'water temperature/salinity observation' is designed to monitor water temperatures and salinity. Currently, our administration makes observations in two manners: one is an automatic observation by means of automatic instrumentation devices, and the other is a manual one by means of a thermometer and a hydrometer.
Data on water temperatures and salinity automatically observed at the station are provided in real-time through our webpage for users. Data on water temperatures and salinity estimated either with automatic instrumentation devices or manually on a vessel are provided through quality processing.

The observation data are used to produce statistical data on water temperatures and salinity and calculate vertical and horizontal distribution charts, and water temperature-salinity diagrams, with average, maximum, and minimum values, on hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly bases.
